I just gained a geek level
Okay, I have finaly surprised myself. I’m in la on the 5, my laptop is connected to the internet on my phone, I have internet connection sharing on with one other person connected in the car, and another person IN THE CAR IN FRONT OF US, and we’re all driving down the road talking on irc.
This is like walkie talkies but WAY COOLER.

I was in the passenger seat, but unfortunately there were several wrecks on the way home. Socalians just don’t know what to do when it rains.

We narrowly escaped a wreck today…It was totally slushy out on the roads and we saw this guy lose control in the road coming towards us. He was totally overcorrecting and we thought he would spin out and hit us for sure, but we couldn’t exactly pull off the road and avoid him either, we figured it was better to let him hit us then to have us run off the road and wreck and have him speed off…He managed to correct 1/8th of a second before collision and he threw up his hands in disgust at us like ‘why didn’t you pull off the road?”
It’s not my fault he doesn’t know how to drive…

Dan was actually doing quite well. He was telling the people we were traveling with to slow the fuck down. I was quite proud.
