Ok, maybe I’m crazy or something, but tonight I just got a bunch of email notifications to replies to stuff I posted a LONG time ago. So if you posted a comment that I never replied to, well uhh…I guess I’m getting around to it now. :scratcha head:

Ok, so I’ve got conquercam working on my laptop for the most part. I’ve had problems every time I’ve tried before, but it’s working better this go than it has any other time. My problem is that my cam won’t stay on…it’ll either turn off in a few minutes or a few seconds, it’s not predictable. I’ve checked in the control panel to tell windows not to ‘turn off this device to save power’, but it’s still doing it, and I can’t think of any other reasons to explain that behavior.
Specs:
Dell latitude c600 850mhz
Windows XP
Conquercam 2.6
CamMaestro piece of shit webcam
Just ask for anything else that might be helpful
Even though the webcam is crap, I had the same problem with my quickcam, so I don’t think that’s the problem.
Oh, and I don’t have any problems broadcasting with yahoo streaming cam.
